A Poem in Bamboo     (China, 2019, 5 minutes)

1920s, southern China. A young bridegroom is visiting his aunt, who lives alone in the distant mountains. Bamboo grows everywhere like an ocean. The mansion is beautiful, and his aunt seems kind. Still, there is that locked room in the attic. And that strange noise. And secrets?

She relentlessly works throughout the day in various houses, ironically the least in her own house. While attending to other’s comforts and needs ,she hardly gets time to attend to her loved ones.

Phoebe  (USA, 2019, 9 minutes)

Phoebe is a real catch... she just doesn’t know it yet. Far from home, she tackles a new sea of challenges during her first weeks at college. With her flamboyant roommate Adam as her navigator, she no longer feels like a small fish in a big pond, and she learns to feel comfortable in her own skin.
